A Gravenhurst man is facing hit and run charges after a collision in Barrie.
Orillia OPP recieved a report on Friday afternoon that there was a collision on Highway 400, and that the driver continued northbound in a heavily damaged vehicle.
An officer was able to find the vehicle on Highway 11 near Oro-Medonte, and stopped the driver.
The 39-year old Gravenhurst man has been charged with impaired operation of a vehicle (alcohol and drugs), dangerous operation of a vehicle, failing to remain at the scene of a collision, and possession of opioids.
The accused is scheduled to appear on September 21st in Orillia court.
