The South Muskoka Shield Hockey organization is looking for billet families for their upcoming season.
These would be families who open their doors to young men from across the globe who would play for the South Muskoka Shield Team and provide them with a comfortable environment during their stay.
Players must adhere to team rules and rules of the house where they stay and respect all family members.
To cover food expenses, billet families would be paid $600 a month.
Players are asked to help families with daily chores like snow shoveling, doing the dishes, and their own laundry – as well as keeping their rooms clean. Often, lifelong friendships are formed through these billet agreements.
