The Town of Collingwood is pleased to announce that you can now purchase your monthly transit passes for Colltrans and the Blue Mountains Link bus online at collingwood.usetransit.com.
For convenience at your fingertips, this new online service adds to our existing self-service options which include property tax payments, recreation program registration, burn permits, dog licenses, planning applications, zoning and site plan compliance, building permits and compliance letters, and By-law complaints launched earlier this year.
Once you register and complete the personal information signup, you will receive an email from TransitFare to activate your account. Once you receive your email from TranistFare, click the provided link within the email to verify your account. Once this has been completed you can login to the TranistFare portal and begin to purchase your passes.
All new cards issued after June 21, 2021, will come complete with an identification number. This will allow you to add that pass to your newly created account immediately. If you have an existing card, you can add that card as well, however you will be required to ask a driver to print you a “card id” ticket to obtain the identification number as all passes issued prior to June 2021 do not have an identification number located on the card. New cards can be issued for free to replace any previously issued cards if required for online purchasing.
TransitFare accepts VISA and Mastercard for any transit fare purchases.
To contact support, please email townhall@collingwood.ca for further assistance or call 705-445-1030.
Transit passes will also still be available for purchase at Town Hall, 97 Hurontario Street and the Collingwood Public Library, 55 Ste. Marie Street, Collingwood during regular business hours.
