A man has suffered life-altering injuries after a crash on Milford Bay Road in Muskoka Lakes.
OPP say the single-vehicle crash happened late Friday night and left one occupant trapped inside.
Police say the man had to be extricated from the vehicle by the Muskoka Lakes Fire Department, while the driver fled the scene and was located at a nearby residence by officers.
Officers arrested and charged 29 year-old Steven BRAZIER of Bracebridge, ON with Impaired Operation Causing Bodily Harm CC 320.13(2), Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle CC 320.14(1)(a), Over 80 CC 320.14(1)(b) and Fail to Stop at Accident Resulting in Bodily Harm CC 320.16(2).
He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on September 28, 2021 to answer to his charges. Furthermore his driver’s license was suspended for 90 days.
