The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 23 new COVID-19 cases and no new deaths.
New cases include 11 in Barrie, 4 in Orillia, 2 in Bradford West Gwillimbury, and 1 each in Innisfil, New Tecumseth, Oro Medonte, Ramara, Collingwood, and Wasaga Beach.
Today’s update also includes two new hospitalizations and 19 newly resolved cases.
To date, 80 percent of the region’s over-12 population has received their first vaccination dose while 71 percent has received its second.
