Officers from the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are seeking assistance of the public as they currently searching for a missing Penetanguishene resident. The missing person is Brian NEWMAN age 77 yrs who was last seen at his Main Street, Penetanguishene apartment on Monday August 9, 2021.
He is described as being male white, 5′ 7″ tall, 130 lbs. in weight, thin build with grey balding hair, clean shaven, no clothing description available, is not in possession of a walker or cane but does walk hunched over.
Officers are currently searching in the Town of Penetanguishene as the missing person is only known to have family in the Penetanguishene area.
Police, friends and family are concerned for Brian’s wellbeing as his disappearance is out of character for him and are asking for the public’s assistance to locate him. Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
