Huron County OPP say they have seen a rise in the number of speeders along Ontario’s West Coast.
In a news release, the region’s provincial police say they have seen a 75 per cent increase in the number of drivers charged with Stunt Driving/Racing this year, compared to this time last year.
Huron OPP has charged 35 drivers with Stunt Driving/Racing compared to 20 at this time last year.
According to police, 27 of the 35 drivers were male, compared to eight females.
Two-thirds (66 per cent) were under the age of 30, while 60 per cent were not residents of Huron County.
