Grey Bruce OPP are identifying the victim of the fatal crash which occurred west of Dundalk Monday morning as 41-year-old Ron Hamilton.
According to police, the Dundalk resident was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency services responded to the incident on Grey Road 9 around 12:45 a.m. Aug. 9.
OPP say preliminary investigations found the resident was lying on the roadway.
The cause of the crash is currently being investigated with assistance from the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team.
