The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 28 new COVID 19 cases and no new deaths.
New cases in the first report this week include 9 in Barrie, 5 in Bradford West-Gwillimbury, 3 in Essa, 2 in New Tecumseth, 2 in Wasaga Beach, 3 in Springwater, and a case each in Orillia, Midland, Penetanguishene, and Innisfil.
Today’s update also includes 9 newly resolved cases.
To date, 79 percent of the region’s over-12 population has received their first dose while 69 percent has received their second.
