A tip helped OPP catch a thief with stolen property in Howick Township.
Police say they were called about suspicious activity and vehicles at a property on Centre Street.
According to reports, the vehicles were stolen with property inside, and officers recovered a mini-excavator stolen from North Huron, a pickup truck stolen from Leeds-Lansdowne Township and a trailer loaded with approximately $7 thousand in scrap wire.
A 34 year old man from Ripley is facing four charges, including three counts of possession of property obtained by a crime over $5 thousand.
