Over $133 thousand in provincial funding is coming to festivals across Huron and Bruce counties.
The Huron Waves Music Festival will be receiving $42,500 through Ontario’s Reconnect Festival and Event Program.
Port Elgin’s Pumpkinfest is getting $41,632, while Kincardine’s Lighthouse Blues Festival will be receiving $49,325.
The Reconnect Festival and Event Program was developed to help festival and event organizers adapt to new public health measures with virtual, drive-through and other safe offerings.
