Grey Bruce OPP are investigating a fatal collision involving a pedestrian west of Dundalk.
Emergency services responded to the incident on Grey Road 9 around 12:45 a.m. Aug. 9.
OPP say preliminary findings revealed a sedan was travelling westbound near Ida Street when it collided with a pedestrian who was lying on the roadway.
Police say the pedestrian was pronounced deceased on the scene.
The incident remains under investigation with the assistance of the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team.
Further details will be released as they become available, OPP say.
Grey Road 9 has since re-opened.
