Huron County OPP say they are currently investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash which occurred this morning west of Walton.
Around 7 a.m., the OPP, along with Huron County Paramedic Services and North Huron Fire Department responded to the crash of a sport utility vehicle.
Attending to Blyth Road, an investigation showed the SUV was travelling east when it left the roadway, entered the ditch, and crashed into a tree where it was fully engulfed in fire.
There was one occupant of the vehicle but they have yet to be identified.
The cause of the collision is under investigation with assistance from the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team.
Be advised Blyth Road is currently closed between Clyde Line and Brussels Line.
Police say more details will be made available pending the notification of next-of-kin.
