UPDATE: Health Unit Reports Five New COVID-19 Cases

The Simcoe-Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 5 new COVID-19 cases today and no new deaths.

New cases include 2 in Essa and 1 each in Barrie, Gravenhurst, and New Tecumseth.

Today’s update also includes 7 newly resolved cases.

To date, 79 percent of the region’s over-12 population has received its first vaccine dose while 68 percent has received their second.
