No injuries to report after a single-engine amphibious plane struck a large wave during landing and takeoff exercises.
Today at 1:30 pm Orillia OPP was called about a plane crash 8 kms off the northeast side of Giants Tomb Island in Georgian Bay.
Transport Canada has been notified.
The plane suffered minor damage and the male pilot was uninjured.
