More than $37,000 worth of stolen property has been recovered after the OPP executed a search warrant in Nippising Township.
Officers executed the warrant on Black Creek Road early Tuesday morning, when a 48 year old man and 49 year old woman were arrested.
The same couple was also recently charged in connection with a 10-thousand dollar theft at the Canadian Tire on King William St. in Huntsville.
As a result of the investigation, 48 year-old Matthew KILBOURNE and 49 year-old Colleen SPENCER have been arrested and charged with the following:
Adult Altering/Destroying/Removing a vehicle identification number contrary to section 353.1 of the Criminal Code (CC) (two counts), and Adult Possession Property Obtained by Crime contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the CC
Matthew Kilbourne is being held for Bail Court.
Colleen SPENCER has been released by way of Undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay on August 24, 2021.
