The province has activated its Disaster Recovery Assistance program, to help those affected by a Tornado July 15 in south Barrie.
Municipal Affairs Minister Steve Clark says the program will help those who’ve suffered losses not covered by insurance.
It applies to a primary residence and its basic contents, or to a small business, and helps with emergency expenses and the costs to repair or replace essential property.
You can access more information here about what is covered, and how to apply for benefits.
