While it hasn’t been a traditional summer for the race tracks in our region, they are busy nonetheless.
Of note, after getting soaked out on Saturday night, Sauble Speedway now turns their attention to this evening when they host their popular ” Dash for Cash ” event.
The 2021 Dash for Cash will feature almost a half dozen categories highlighted by the Super Stock Invitational 50 lap race and the Combined 4s which will have a 40 Lap run.
The Grandstand at Sauble Speedway opens today at 5 pm with racing set to commence at 7 pm for the Dash for Cash.
Meanwhile looking ahead to Saturday, Hanover Raceway will host their signature event, the 2021 Dream of Glory race with a purse that should be in the neighbourhood of $ 60,000
The Elimination races were staged on Saturday with ” Publicity Seeker “, ” Sweet Soul David ” & ” Tipsy in Dixie ” scoring the divisional victories.
It’s notable that ” Tipsy in Dixie ” posted the fastest time in the Eliminations, hitting the line in 2:01 flat.
The Dream of Glory Final, along with the Gail Murray Invitational Pace, are among the highlights this Saturday at Hanover Raceway where post time will be 1:30 pm
