The province has announced an investment of up to $14.7 million for 13 new projects under the Improving Connectivity for Ontario (ICON) program.
These projects will bring reliable, high-speed internet to 42 communities across the province, including The Blue Mountains and Muskoka Lakes.
The government says The Blue Mountains will receive up to $111,901 which will provide increased access to high speed internet for up to 86 homes/businesses.
Muskoka Lakes, MacTier, Bala will receive up to $762,996 for approximately 843 homes/businesses.
