Nathan Miller and Jackson Kuhl split the loss for the Twins, collecting 5 k’s, while giving up 6 hits and 6 walks. Miller also had a good game at the plate, taking 2 walks and hitting a homerun for the Twins.
Lanen McCartney had a single, double and an RBI for the Twins as well.

Zak Hamilton pitched the win for the Twins, giving up 5 hits, 4 walks and 3 strikeouts.

Wilmot jumped on the board first, with 2 quick runs in the top of the first, but the Twins answered back with 2 of their own in the bottom half,
The defensive effort was highlighted by an amazing diving catch in left field by Colton Cameron, which was the highlight of the tournament, according to the OASA officials.
Ethan Sopkowe toed the rubber for the Twins, throwing 7 innings of 6 hit, 2 walk and 1 strikeout ball.
The Twins offense was buoyed by Mason Bell with 2 doubles and 2 walks, and Waylon Greig with a 2 rbi double, a walk and 3 runs scored

Norwich Otters 6 Tara Twins 5
The Otters jumped ahead 3-2 after 1, the Twins tied it 3-3 after 3, Norwich went up 4-3 in the 5th until the Twins went ahead 5-4 in the top of the seventh, thanks to a 2-RBI double by Landen McCartney.
But Norwich had a comeback of their own in the bottom of the seventh, scoring 2 runs to come out on top
Nathan Miller pitched for the Twins in the loss, giving up 6 hits, 7 walks while striking out 8.
Mason Bell had 2 hits and 2 runs scored for Tara, while Sopkowe had 2 hits, a walk, a run and an RBI as well.
Norwich went on to face Elmira in the final, dropping a 10-0 game to the west qualifier champion Heat.
The final rankings for the West Qualifier are Elmira, Norwich, Tara, Wilmot, PDP, Tavistock. They will face the East at the provincial championships in Drumbo August 14 and 15. Napanee won the East qualifier, followed by Havelock, Napanee BB and Kenmore.

The Owen Sound Lady North Stars competed in their final weekend of OWFL play.
The Lady NorthStars finished the season ranked 3rd overall in the province with a 7-4-1 record.
Graduating players Francesca Alpajaro and Jordan Kosempel finished the season with outstanding defensive performances. Goalie Maxine Van Strein also had a tremendous day between the pipes.
