The Rainbow and Transgender Pride Flags are being raised in Simcoe County this morning, kicking off Fierté Simcoe Pride Week, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
The goal of the annual event is to offer inclusive services, and programs that celebrate the diversity of gender and sexual identities, promoting safe communities within Simcoe County.
Among the events are Pride Prom, Trans March: Driving Edition, as well as the Pride PJ and Movie Night.
