
The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported 11 new Covid cases and 17 resolved ones on Monday.
According to Public Health, three people from West Grey, two from each of Owen Sound and Grey Highlands, and residents of Arran-Elderslie, Chatsworth, South Bruce Peninsula and Georgian Bluffs tested positive.
The region’s active known case load fell to 175. Seven Grey Bruce residents are hospitalized locally and three others are receiving care outside the area.
More than 204,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
Fifteen Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Monday are reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
