The Town of Wasaga Beach is looking for artists to complete a mural project at the local skateboard park.
Up to seven different artists will be chosen for the murals, which will be hung at the Oakview Woods Skateboard Park in September.
The town says the goal of the artwork is to create uplifting, youth- and family-friendly pieces that are optimistic and interactive, inspire community engagement, and encompass a sense of connectedness to Wasaga Beach geographically or historically.
Artists, once selected, will be paid $750 for each mural, and they have until Aug. 12 to apply to recreation@wasagabeach.com.
