The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 7 new COVID-19 cases today and one new death.
New cases include 3 in Innisfil and 1 each in Barrie, Essa, Bradford West Gwillimbury and Severn.
Today’s update, which is the first since last week also includes six new recoveries and 1 new hospitalization.
As of today, 75 percent of Simcoe-Muskoka’s over-18 population has received their first vaccination dose while 55 percent have received their second.
