A concerned citizen has helped Bracebridge OPP arrest an alleged drug-impaired driver.
Police received a complaint on Saturday afternoon about a possible crash on Fraserburg Road, where officers located a man who travelled approximately 100 meters off the roadway, knocking down two posts, some guardrail wire and multiple trees.
As a result of the investigation, 23 year-old Johnathon Robichaud of Burlington, ON with Operation While Impaired by Drug CC 320.14(1)(a).
He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on September 7, 2021 to answer to this charge. Furthermore driver’s license has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
