The Northern Tornadoes Project is heading to Penetanguishene this morning.
The group has received reports of damage in the area, close to where a supercell with strong low-level rotation moved through yesterday.
The NTP was founded in 2017 by Western University and aims to detect and document all tornadoes in Canada.
