The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported 22 new Covid cases and 31 resolved ones on Sunday.
According to Public Health, nine people from Saugeen First Nation, six from Owen Sound, two people from Saugeen Shores, and residents of Huron-Kinloss, Georgian Bluffs, Hanover and Southgate tested positive.
The region’s active known case load fell slightly to 200. Six Grey Bruce residents are hospitalized locally and six others are receiving care outside the area.
More than 166,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
Nine Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Sunday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Saturday.
