Storybook Park just outside Owen Sound has reopened as of today.
The family run park, which has rides and waterslides as well as a petting zoo has been closed for the entire duration of the pandemic.
The owners say in a release, “We would like to thank you for your support and understanding in this unprecedented situation we are dealing with in COVID-19.” They say the park’s size allows for it to reopen now that we’re in Step Two of the province’s reopening plan. They say it will be open for regular day use. Season passes can be purchased online.
They will not be doing large group reservations this year.
They say wearing a face mask is mandatory except when eating or on a waterslide.
They’re asking people to self-screen before COVID-19 before coming to the park and to remember to be patient and kind to staff who are following pandemic rules.
Storybook park is located on Storybook Park Road on the eastern edge of Owen Sound.
