A collision has claimed the life of a Mildmay resident today.
Early this morning, OPP responded to the single-vehicle collision on Highway 9 (Elora Street) just west of Clifford.
OPP says an SUV left the road and hit a tree. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased has since been identified as 38-year-old Kirk Huber.
A post-mortem is scheduled to take place tomorrow.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Highway 9 has since re-opened for travel.
