Another discovery of human remains in unmarked graves has been made at the site of a former residential school in BC.
Ground-penetrating radar has revealed 182 human remains at the site of the old St. Eugene’s Mission Residential School in Cranbrook.
The discovery was confirmed by the Lower Kootenay Band.
The school was in operation for 60 years between 1910 and 1970.
The discovery follows similar ones at unmarked grave sites in Kamloops and Saskatchewan.
