A local potato processing company has been fined $5000 for violating the Ontario Water Resources Act.
The government says Lundy Potato Farms Ltd. on the 30th Sideroad in (Alliston) Simcoe County did not get the required approval to operate a potato washing operation.
The company was convicted on June 4, and has six months to pay the fine.
