A Bradford resident is dead after going for a swim in Almaguin Highlands
Friday night around 11 pm, Almaguin Highlands OPP responded to a missing person off Doe Lake Road who had entered the water and didn’t resurface.
The marine unit recovered the body of 53-year-old Alexei Golovbev of Bradford.
The investigation into the death continues.
OPP reminds everyone to always be mindful of fluctuating water levels which can change rapidly when water is released through dams.
