The Township of Ramara has partnered with HONK to implement a paid parking pilot program.
Starting immediately, residents and visitors who park at Bluebird Park, Lagoon City Beach
and Park, and Lovely Day Park will have access to five paid parking spots, and the safest and
fastest contactless parking experience in Canada. Drivers have two touch-free ways to pay
with HONK: (1) scan their phone on a QR-code located onsite for a quick guest checkout
experience, or (2) download the free Honk app from the App Store or Google Play.
At each municipal parking lot location, there will by five parking spots available for paid
parking. Parking will cost $5 per hour and is available between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to
10:00 p.m. There will be no overnight parking, commercial vehicle parking or unattached
trailer parking allowed at each of these municipal parking lot locations. Residents are
encouraged to register for their TWO FREE parking permits that they can use at these
municipal parking lot or on-street parking locations.
