The OPP is appealing to the public for information regarding a dog attack in Orillia.
Police say a man was walking his two small dogs on George Street on the evening of Wednesday, June 9th, when he encountered a black dog which was not on a leash.
The man picked up his pets and attempted to walk past the area, but police say he was attacked by the loose dog and one of the small dogs suffered severe injuries in the attack.
A woman in the area and a man in a blue van are believed to have witnessed the incident and stopped to help.
Police are continuing to investigate but have yet to identify the two witnesses.
