A Bluewater teenager learned the hard way not to cram too many people into a vehicle.
Huron OPP say a R.I.D.E. stop was being conducted in Bayfield, when a mid-sized sport utility vehicle was found to be over capacity.
According to police, ten occupants were inside the vehicle, which was designed only to handle five.
Officers say two of the occupants were found in the cargo portion of the SUV, and open alcohol was found in the vehicle.
A 17 year old from Bluewater has been charged with Stunt Driving and Drive Motor Vehicle With Open Container of Liquor.
The involved vehicle has been impounded and the driver is now facing an automatic 7-day driver’s licence suspension.
