Grey Bruce OPP say it was not a hit and run incident that injured a man earlier this week on Saugeen First Nation.
On Wednesday, OPP issued a release saying they responded to a report of a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle on Saugeen First Nation and was seriously injured.
Police did not say which street the incident occurred on, but asked for witnesses and any video footage of the incident from dash cameras or security cameras.
Police now say upon further investigation, it has been confirmed the man did not sustain his injuries as a result of being struck by a vehicle.
No other details about the incident were released, but police are thanking the community for its help.
