The County of Simcoe has approved 89 successful applications totaling just under half a million dollars through the 2021 Tourism, Culture and Sport Grant Program.
There were five recipients in the Southern Georgian Bay area:
The Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts , Collingwood Downtown BIA, Collingwood Paddling Club, South Georgian Bay Tourism and Theater Collingwood.
The grant program is designed to enhance local culture, sports and tourism organizations.
