An elderly London, ON man faces charges after police used an iPhone app while investigating a theft occurrence in Grand Bend.
The morning of June 12th, OPP was called after a cell phone and shoes were stolen from the main beach in Grand Bend.
Police used the ‘Find my iPhone’ app and later took a suspect into custody at a nearby parking lot.
The 70-year-old’s been charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
He’s scheduled to appear in a Sarnia court at a later date.
