Glen Juniper Passes
A prominent member of the Owen Sound business and sporting community, Glen Juniper has passed away.
For decades, Glen and his wife, Judy, operated Scenic Color Centre in Owen Sound’s downtown core and the business was extremely supportive of local sports and was a longtime sponsor of Plateradio and Bearadio on 560 CFOS.
Glen also was involved in hockey and lacrosse at every level, most notably serving as the President of the NorthStars during what many consider the golden years of the franchise in the late 1970s.
A member of the Owen Sound Sports Hall of Fame, Glenn also was a passionate voice for local sports on Cable TV.

Fastball Update
The Ontario Amateur Softball Association Under 23 Elimination Tournament scheduled for Owen Sound next month has been officially cancelled.
The tournament was slated to be conducted July 9th-11th
With lingering uncertainty pertaining to the number of athletes permitted in one venue it’s expected all provincial tournaments will be cancelled or postponed until August.
