A Walkerton woman has been identified as the victim in a shooting in Mississauga.
Peel Regional Police say on Wednesday, at about 11:40 at night they received a call about a shooting in the area of Ninth Line and Burnhamthorpe Road West in Mississauga.
Officers and first responders arrived at the scene and located 22-year-old Marissa Radstake, from Walkerton, suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot area outside of a business.
Despite the efforts of first responders, police say she succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Person Bureau are investigating and canvassing the rural Mississauga area for witnesses.
