The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported seven new Covid cases on Thursday.
According to Public Health, three people from South Bruce, two from Brockton and residents of South Bruce Peninsula and West Grey tested positive.
With none resolved, the region’s active known case load jumped to 28. Two Grey Bruce residents are currently hospitalized outside the region.
Seven Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
More than 114,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Thursday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Wednesday.
