A 29-year-old woman from Schomberg is dead following a collision on Hwy 11.
OPP says it happened near Line 5 in Oro-Medonte Sunday night.
Shortly after 10 pm, police responded to reports that a pedestrian was struck in the northbound lanes.
Tragically, a deceased woman was found on the highway. Two vehicles were identified as being involved in the incident.
The highway remained closed for several hours for the investigation. The deceased is not being identified at this time.
