Technical issues impacting RVH’S information and communication system have been resolved.
It says a power supply failure in RVH’s data centre yesterday resulted in a shutdown and ongoing disruption of many of our information technology services, impacting access to information and communication, such as email, the phone system and health information system.
The hospital says the malfunction resulted in some service delays and extended wait times; however, urgent emergency services, including surgeries, were not impacted by the system disruptions.
RVH will continue to closely monitor and test its systems, but for now, it appears the systems are gradually coming back online and most are functioning normally.
#UPDATE RVH’s telecommunication issue has been resolved. Thank you to our patients and community for their patience during this unexpected disruption.
