Simcoe County Paramedics are again warning of a dangerous strain of drugs present within Barrie that is believed to be a synthetic opioid
Police said yesterday the dangerous & deadly strain has resulted in upwards to a dozen overdoses in the past 24-hours & an increase in the number of hospitalizations over the past couple of weeks.
Officials say the drug is crystalline in appearance, green, beige or yellowish in color, & potent enough to require multiple applications of Narcan.
