The Grey Bruce Health Unit says it is working to manage an outbreak of COVID-19 declared in the Forum rooming house in Hanover.
They say at least 10 cases are associated with the location at 315 10th St, Hanover. The facility is closed.
Public Health says anyone who entered, visited or stayed at that location since May 26 is considered a high risk contact and should self-isolate for 14 days from the last day they were at the residence and should contact a local assessment centre for testing. They should remain in self isolation regardless of the outcome of the testing.
Public Health says it is providing testing, vaccination and working with Grey County to provide alternate housing. That includes logistics related to support for cases and close contacts in order to maintain basic necessities during isolation including food and supplies to prevent drug and alcohol withdrawal. Public Health says it is working with police to ensure security and are providing a mobile vaccine clinic for non-cases.
