Starting today, the first payments are being sent out for the CCB young child supplement.
It provides up to four tax-free payments up to $1200 to families with children under the age of six to help pay for a wide range of expenses caused by the pandemic, such as: child care, meals and clothes, among other things.
These payments are issued separately from the CCB payments you may already receive, and parents who share custody will each get half of the supplement based on their own family net income.
