Starting today, Ontarians will be able to access proof of their COVID-19 vaccination online.
It’s not a passport of any kind, but the provincial government says residents will be able to log in to the online portal at Ontario.ca to get a PDF copy of their vaccination receipt for both their first and second shots.
The province has also announced that those who received the first shot of AstraZeneca will be able to schedule their second dose this week, after the vaccine was temporarily paused due to rare blood clotting. For more details, please click here.
Meanwhile, Ontario’s COVID-19 vaccine rollout continues to expand, with youth aged 12 and over eligible to book their appointment to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
As of 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 23, 2021, youth aged 12 and over across Ontario became eligible to schedule a COVID-19 vaccine appointment through the provincial booking system and call centre, as well as at select pharmacies administering the Pfizer vaccine. To book an appointment online, these individuals must already be 12 years old as of the date of their booking.
