Provincial Police say they’re investigating after counterfeit money was used at a business in Chesley.
South Bruce OPP have not provided much information about the occurrence, only that the phony bill used was a $20 Canadian note.
Police have not disclosed what Chesley business it was used at, or when.
However, South Bruce OPP are urging businesses in the area to be cautious when accepting cash payments in light of this incident.6
