All Indigenous (First Nations, Metis and Inuit) adults 16 years of age or older, living in the Simcoe-Muskoka region are able to book their second appointment for the COVID-19 vaccine.
The time between the first and second dose is 21 days for Indigenous adults and there are clinics taking place in Barrie, Orillia, and Midland this week.
Indigenous residents have the option of booking their vaccine appointment at an Indigenous community clinic or at one of the mass immunization clinics.
The Indigenous community clinics will be held at the following locations:
- Tuesday, May 18 in Barrie at Holly Recreation Centre
- Friday, May 21 in Midland at North Simcoe Recreation Centre
- Tuesday, May 25 in Orillia at Rotary Place
- Friday, May 28 in Midland at North Simcoe Recreation Centre
