Orillia Power customers will start to receive their electricity from Hydro One, starting on June 1st.
With the transition of Orillia Power to Hydro One, officials say this may be a primetime for scammers looking to take advantage of unsuspecting victims.
They say customers can protect themselves by reaching out to their current electricity service provider, Orillia Power at 705-326-7315, or contacting the Canadian Anti-fraud Centre
All customers should be aware, Hydro One is not disconnecting any customers at this time and only has one toll free number for Customer Care: 1-888-664-9376.

Starting June 1, all customers will be seamlessly transitioned to Hydro One, and can contact our Customer Care team at 1-888-664-9376 to discuss flexible payment options and learn more about our Pandemic Relief Program for customers in need.
